Former Akit columnist reacts sharply to Erdoğan! 'Politics with such expressions is not right'
Former Akit newspaper columnist Abdurrahman Dilipak criticized President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's statement that the CHP would "perish" (telef olacaksınız), emphasizing that these words are divisive and hurtful to society. Dilipak said, "Who are you exterminating? When even the culling of stray animals is a subject of debate in this country, it is not right to engage in politics with such expressions."
President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan targeted the Republican People's Party (CHP) and Özgür Özel during his party's latest group meeting.
OBJECTION TO THE 'YOU WILL PERISH' REMARK
Erdoğan, claiming that CHP leader Özel is chasing a presidential candidacy, stated, "Let's see how many more CHP members will perish in the political whirlpool on the path to presidential ambition."
Former Akit newspaper columnist Abdurrahman Dilipak commented on Erdoğan's words targeting the CHP, in which he said they would "perish" (telef olacaksınız).
Dilipak criticized Erdoğan, saying, "No, no! This 'perish' business was wrong."
'WHO ARE YOU EXTERMINATING'
Abdurrahman Dilipak's commentary is as follows:
"No, no! This 'perish' business was wrong. Who are you exterminating? In a country where even the culling of stray dogs is debated, this is not something that should happen. A wound from the tongue sometimes opens incurable wounds."
