Former MasterChef contestant enters politics: Party leader pins his badge

Chef Eray Aksungur, who became widely known through the MasterChef Turkey competition, has begun his political career with the Anahtar Party. Aksungur's entry into the party took place during Anahtar Party Chairman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu's program in Bolu.

Ağıralioğlu, who met with Aksungur during contacts made before shopkeeper visits and the opening of the provincial headquarters in Bolu, pinned the party badge on the famous chef. It was stated that during the badge presentation, Aksungur remarked, "I hope we will remember this in good times."

It was reported that Aksungur, known for his work in the field of gastronomy, will take part in the Anahtar Party's political activities moving forward. Aksungur's participation was one of the prominent highlights of the party's program in Bolu.

EMRE YALÇINKAYA WAS ALSO AT THE PROGRAM

Among those accompanying Aksungur at the program in Bolu was chef and business owner Emre Yalçınkaya. It had previously been announced that Emre Yalçınkaya, the son of MasterChef jury member Mehmet Yalçınkaya, had also joined the Anahtar Party.

Yalçınkaya's party membership was announced in April 2026, and his badge was also pinned by Anahtar Party Chairman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu. It was reported that director İsmail Güneş also joined the party at the same ceremony.
