Kılıçdaroğlu alarm in CHP ahead of the convention: It could lose its parliamentary group...
In CHP corridors, it is being discussed that if Kılıçdaroğlu runs for chairman again, some deputies within the party may leave. Party sources suggest that if defections occur, the CHP could face the risk of losing its parliamentary group status in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
As the CHP convention process approaches, political maneuvering regarding Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's potential candidacy has intensified. Some figures within the party have warned that if Kılıçdaroğlu runs again, the departure of deputies could accelerate.
Following the establishment of the YENİ Party by Özgür Özel and 90 deputies, discussions regarding the defection of lawmakers continue within the opposition front. It is claimed in CHP corridors that contacts with some deputies are ongoing and that new defections could occur in the near future.
According to a report by Nefes, sources from the YENİ Party believe that new names who will leave the CHP during this process could join their party. These sources stated, "The main body of the opposition is now here. Unfortunately, control of the CHP has slipped out of the hands of the opposition. The eyes of the entire society are upon us."
KILIÇDAROĞLU'S INSTRUCTION: GET ALONG WITH OUR FRIENDS
According to information obtained, Kılıçdaroğlu gave a message to his staff not to sever ties with those who have moved or are expected to move to the YENİ Party. It was reported that Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Get along with our friends. They are also friends we have worked with. Do not neglect greetings and respect. Keep your contacts positive. When the time comes, everyone will understand what is what."

WHAT DID KILIÇDAROĞLU SAY ABOUT HIS CANDIDACY?
Whether Kılıçdaroğlu will be a candidate at the convention is also one of the most discussed topics within the party. It was learned that he told deputies who visited him, "I have no such concern. When that day comes, we will talk among ourselves. I will respect your decision."
In the corridors, it is being discussed that if Kılıçdaroğlu becomes a candidate, approximately 10-15 deputies could leave the CHP; some of these individuals might remain independent, while others might join the YENİ Party.
"CHP COULD LOSE ITS TBMM GROUP"
A CHP deputy, stating that the party's group status in the TBMM could be at risk if Kılıçdaroğlu runs, said, "If Mr. Kemal becomes a candidate, the majority of our friends could go to the YENİ Party. If we also take into account the friends who are considering remaining independent, the CHP could fall below 20 deputies. This could lead to the CHP losing its TBMM group."
Another deputy, who is said to have influence within the party, argued that Kılıçdaroğlu should not be a candidate. The same person assessed, "Right now, the party is on the verge of being locked up. We believe that if Mr. Kemal becomes chairman again, the party's doors will be closed completely."
