Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor and Presidential Candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu has issued a call for membership to the NEW Party on his social media account.
Sharing a photo taken with NEW Party Chairman Özgür Özel, İmamoğlu stated that members will elect the chairman at the party's first convention and urged for the membership campaign to be expanded.
For the first time; let us head to the ballot box with record membership in the NEW PARTY, where members elect their own chairman. Let us choose our chairman, Özgür Özel, ourselves and make history!
In his post, İmamoğlu used the phrases, "You named it, you provided the budget, you started a NEW era," and added, "NEW GENERATION POLITICS will be your work.".
Concluding his call with the words, "The nation will succeed, the nation will win! Everything will be very beautiful!", İmamoğlu asked supporters to increase their participation in the membership campaign.
