Resignation earthquake in İYİ Party! Antalya MP Aykut Kaya announced it on social media
Antalya MP Aykut Kaya has announced his resignation from the İYİ Party via social media.
İYİ Party Antalya MP Aykut Kaya announced his resignation in a post on X.
"I WILL CONTINUE TO WORK"
Kaya stated the following in his post:
"I believe that politics is about serving our nation and carrying our country to the level of prosperity and modernity it deserves. With this belief, in my political life that I started in the İYİ Party, I became the İYİ Party Antalya MP candidate by coming in first in the parliamentary primary held within the İYİ Party Antalya Provincial Organization before the 2023 general elections. In the May 14 general elections, I was elected as an MP with the appreciation of my fellow citizens in Antalya. Until today, I have aimed to be a representative of the nation, and I have worked and will continue to work with devotion and effort for our country and our Antalya.
However, I sadly see that the conditions for serving our nation and our country have disappeared in the İYİ Party, which I joined with great excitement and hope. For this reason, I have decided to resign from my İYİ Party membership.
This decision has not been easy for me, but it is a step that I believe is necessary in order to better serve our nation and our Antalya. From today on, I will continue in politics by keeping the interests of our nation above everything else. I would like to state that in the coming days, I will continue to work with perseverance and determination to build a better future for our country and our nation. Respectfully announced to the public."
