According to a report by Turan Yılmaz from Hürriyet, there is talk of the possibility that the election could go to subsequent rounds. With the potential for 150-200 blank votes to be cast, it is considered difficult for either side to secure an absolute majority in the first two rounds, with one CHP source stating, “The risk of blank votes should not be underestimated.”

In the corridors of power, the assessment is that “If this scenario occurs, both Kılıçdaroğlu himself and the Party Assembly (PM) list with which he will manage the party in the new term would be elected in a weakened state.”
