The YENİ Party Tokat Provincial Headquarters building was opened with a ceremony. The opening was attended by YENİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın, Istanbul MP Özgür Karabat, and the party's administrators and members in Tokat.
Speaking at the ceremony, Günaydın leveled harsh accusations against the government. Expressing his allegations regarding AKP circles, Günaydın said, "The elites of the AKP; not only their scions, but also their fathers, mothers, members of parliament, and ministers have stolen at least 850 billion liras from this country, and now they cannot disclose the list out of shame. We have caught you by the tail, and we will spill that list out one by one. There is a time for all of it."
Günaydın stated that 850 billion liras corresponds to approximately 20 billion dollars, arguing that the damage is not limited to this. Touching upon the losses in the stock market, Günaydın claimed that 6.5 trillion liras have evaporated since September 17, which he asserted amounts to a loss of 130 billion dollars.
EMPLOYMENT BASED ON JUSTICE AND MERIT
Touching upon the 103rd anniversary of the Republic, Günaydın commemorated Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, İsmet İnönü, Fevzi Çakmak, and the unsung heroes of the War of Independence. Stating that they can walk the streets of Tokat without bodyguards, Günaydın said, "May God never make anyone unable to go outside without 3,000 police officers by their side."
YENİ Party Tokat Provincial Chairman Çağdaş Kurtgöz said that the opening was not just the opening of a building. Describing the provincial building as an address for struggle where the public will have a say, Kurtgöz said, "Today, we are opening the doors to a new hope and a new excitement in Tokat all together."
Kurtgöz stated that they have achieved a significant increase in membership in a short time, noting that 5,000 people have joined the party within a month. Arguing that the participation took place with a demand for "change and justice," Kurtgöz stated that the YENİ Party will be grown by the nation.
In his speech, Istanbul MP Özgür Karabat also celebrated the October 29 Republic Day. Karabat said that if they come to power, they will take steps in the areas of fighting inflation, providing cheap credit to farmers, ensuring justice in income distribution, and merit-based employment.
