It has been reported that 1 billion 983 million TL was spent in the first six months of the year for the presidential bodyguards tasked with protecting President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his family members.
According to the report by journalist İsmail Arı, this amount corresponds to the one-month salary of approximately 84 thousand 200 retirees receiving the lowest pension.
