Battery capacities for Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra leaked

New information has emerged regarding the Galaxy S27 series, which Samsung is expected to introduce in early 2027. According to leaks, the high-end models of the series, the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, will come with larger batteries compared to previous generations.

It is claimed that the Galaxy S27 Pro is being tested with a 5,087 mAh capacity battery. It is noted that this value could be announced as a typical capacity of 5,200 mAh at launch.

Considering the model's relatively more compact structure, this figure could represent a significant increase in Samsung's flagship lineup.

For the Galaxy S27 Ultra, expected to be the most powerful model in the series, a battery capacity of 5,534 mAh is on the agenda. It is alleged that the typical capacity offered to consumers could be announced as 5,700 mAh. For comparison, it is reported that the Galaxy S26 Ultra contains a 5,000 mAh capacity cell.

The increase in the battery department is linked to Samsung's transition to silicon-carbon battery technology. Since this technology can offer higher capacity in similar body dimensions, it provides more space for manufacturers, especially in thin and high-end phones.
