At Mobile World Congress (MWC), an operating system introduced by Brain.ai, or Brain Technologies as the company is known, aims to spread artificial intelligence into every aspect of the phone.

According to a report by Webtekno, when you turn on the device, you are greeted by a static screen, after which you can convey the action you want to perform via voice or text command. For example, in a demonstration by the company's CEO Jerry Yue, he asks for a gift recommendation upon unlocking his phone. Instead of just answering, the phone directly displays e-commerce results. Although only Amazon links were visible in the demonstration, Yue stated that the product will support more than 7 thousand stores when it is released.

Emphasizing security by saying, "These AI models will be your black box," Yue noted that they will explain why a recommendation is made whenever one is provided. It is also noteworthy that there are no third-party applications on the device.

As users search, ask questions, or request gift recommendations, Brain.ai will provide more personalized and accurate answers. This model will obtain the information it needs by drawing from third-party providers such as Google and OpenAI.

Features like the camera may vary depending on which device the operating system is installed on and the specific example of the device used for the operating system demo. The phone can also perform tasks such as image generation, which we are accustomed to.

Finally, it is noted that AI processing is not performed on the device itself; therefore, the faster the connection capabilities of the device hosting the operating system, the faster the AI tasks will be processed. Although the device's operating system is built on the Android kernel, it is stated to be quite different from the Android operating system we know. This difference can also be seen in Huawei devices; although they are Android devices, they show differences in terms of their operating systems.
