6-month driving ban for Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian star, who announced he would leave Liverpool at the end of last season, was found to have exceeded the speed limit in March while driving his 400,000-pound Rolls-Royce.

It was noted that Salah, who was caught by a mobile speed camera in the Wilmslow area of Cheshire, did not inform the police who the driver was and did not respond to two court summons sent to his mansion.

Salah, who currently lives in Trabzon, was consequently given a 6-month driving ban in England and a 660-pound fine. It was also decided that Salah must pay 120 pounds in court costs and a 264-pound victim surcharge.

Salah had previously exceeded the speed limit in his Ferrari in 2022 and paid a 200-pound fine following the incident. In 2018, the star player made headlines with footage that appeared to show him using a mobile phone while behind the wheel. However, the police stated that there was "insufficient evidence" and he did not receive any penalty.
