Ergin Ataman, head coach of the EuroLeague team Panathinaikos, was hospitalized due to a cough following the Peristeri match played in the Greek League.
According to the statement from Panathinaikos, the successful coach's condition is not concerning, and he will return to his duties shortly.
Due to Ataman being taken to the hospital, his assistant Christos Serelis took his place at the press conference. Following the 104-68 blowout victory, Ataman did not make a statement to ERT after the match as he had been referred to the hospital for tests.
PANATHINAIKOS TO FACE BOLOGNA
Panathinaikos will host Maccabi next Tuesday, and will face Virtus Bologna away in the EuroLeague on Friday.
