Fenerbahçe Beko announces new big man: 1+1 year deal
Fenerbahçe Beko, one of Turkey's leading basketball teams, has strengthened its roster by signing a 1+1 year contract with Gabonese power forward Chris Silva, who has recently made a name for himself in Europe.

According to the announcement, Chris Silva, who most recently played for the Greek representative AEK, will compete in the yellow-and-navy jersey next season. The club announced that an agreement has been reached with the Gabonese center on a 1+1 year contract.

The player, who signed with his team in the summer of 2025, appeared in five Basketball Champions League matches in an AEK uniform. Additionally, he made a significant contribution to his team with an average efficiency rating of 21.
Drawing a strong profile on the international stage as well, Chris Silva impressed with his effective performance for the Gabon National Team in the FIBA AfroBasket Qualifiers. Playing in three matches during the tournament, the successful forward reached the top of the statistics by averaging 25 points, 14.7 rebounds, 4 assists, and an efficiency rating of 29.3.
Winning the player of the week award three times while playing for AEK, Chris Silva most recently earned the title of most valuable player in the Basketball Champions League Group Stage.
