French Football Federation unveils new logo: Hexagonal shape replaced by golden rooster

The French Football Federation (FFF) has unveiled its new logo to be used by the national teams. The federation's visual identity change was announced one day after it was revealed that Zinedine Zidane had been appointed as the head of the men's national team.

With the new emblem, the hexagonal shape that French football has used for a long time, which refers to the country's geographical shape, has been left behind. While the rooster figure, the symbol of the federation, has been preserved, the design has been reinterpreted with more detailed and distinct lines.Fransa'nın eski futbol federasyonu logosunun mavi forma kumaşı üzerindeki görünümü.

GOLD COLOR STANDS OUT IN THE NEW IDENTITY

The white color used for the rooster and the word "France" in the old logo has largely been replaced by golden yellow in the new design. The stars, the rooster figure, the letters "FFF," and the word "France" were designed in the same color. While the red on the rooster's comb and wattle has been preserved, dark blue tones were used in the background.

The federation stated that the purpose of the change is to modernize the visual identity and ensure more consistent use across digital channels, marketing efforts, and events. The new logo will not be limited to the senior national team; it will be used as a common graphic framework for all national teams affiliated with the federation.

The logo change, which coincides with the same week as the start of the Zidane era, is considered a sign of a new chapter in French football in terms of both on-field restructuring and corporate identity.
