Harry Kane becomes the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the Bundesliga
Bayern Munich's English star Harry Kane has become the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach the 100-goal milestone, achieving the feat in just 98 matches.
Bayern Munich's star forward Harry Kane has written his name into the Bundesliga's goal-scoring record books. According to the statement released by the Bundesliga, Kane reached the 100-goal mark in his 98th league appearance for Bayern Munich, becoming the fastest player in history to reach this threshold.

The 33-year-old English footballer broke the record with his first goal in the 4th-week match where Bayern Munich hosted Union Berlin. Kane reached 100 goals 30 matches faster than the previous record holder, Dieter Müller. Müller had reached the same tally in 129 matches while playing for Köln.

Kane, who found the back of the net twice in the match, increased his goal tally in his Bundesliga career to 101. While Bayern Munich left the pitch with a 7-0 victory, Michael Olise also scored a hat-trick in the match.
Following this result, Bayern Munich has moved up to 10 points in the first 4 weeks of the Bundesliga season.
