Huge pay raise for İrfan Can at Fenerbahçe
The Yellow-Navies have reached a new 3-year agreement with İrfan Can Kahveci, whose contract was set to expire at the end of the season. The national footballer's salary has been doubled to 60 million liras.
İrfan Can Kahveci, one of Fenerbahçe's most effective players last season, has lost his regular starting spot following the appointment of José Mourinho as head coach.
Preferring Dusan Tadic on the right wing, Mourinho has generally deployed İrfan Can as a substitute.
AGREEMENT REACHED FOR NEW CONTRACT
Taking action for İrfan Can, whose contract expires at the end of the season, the Fenerbahçe management has made a significant increase in his salary to keep the national player on the team. According to a report by Sabah, İrfan Can's annual salary of 30 million liras has been increased to 60 million liras.

It has been learned that the Yellow-Navies have signed a new 3-year contract with İrfan Can Kahveci and that an official announcement will be made shortly.
PERFORMANCE THIS SEASON
Having finished the previous season with 18 goals and 12 assists, İrfan Can has only been able to play a total of 553 minutes in 15 matches during the 2024-25 season. During this period, he has contributed only 1 goal and 2 assists.
