İsmaila Sarr rumors at Fenerbahçe: Senegalese player accepts offer

Fenerbahçe is nearing the end of its transfer efforts to strengthen its wing position with the option of İsmaila Sarr. It is reported that the yellow-navy management turned its route to the Premier League after failing to get the expected result from its attempts for Milan player Rafael Leao.

According to a report in the Italian press outlet Tuttomercato, the Senegalese right-winger playing for Crystal Palace has accepted Fenerbahçe's offer. The report stated that the official transfer process is expected to be completed shortly.

The 28-year-old footballer's contract with Crystal Palace runs until June 30, 2029. Sarr, whose primary position is right-wing, can also play on the left wing and as an attacking midfielder if needed.

It was reported that Fenerbahçe accelerated its search for reinforcements in the attacking line following its elimination of Gornik Zabrze in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round second leg.

Having played 92 matches in his Crystal Palace career, İsmaila Sarr has recorded 33 goals and 10 assists in these appearances. The player, whose current market value is listed at 45 million euros, transferred to the English team from Marseille in 2024 for a transfer fee of 15 million euros.
