Dries Mertens spoke about his future at the yellow-reds after Galatasaray maintained their lead by defeating Pendikspor 4-1 at home in the 33rd week of the Süper Lig.
Süper Lig leaders Galatasaray faced Pendikspor in front of their own fans. The yellow-red team extended their winning streak to 14 matches by defeating their opponent 4-1 with goals from Icardi, Abdülkerim Bardakçı, Dries Mertens, and Kerem Aktürkoğlu.
Speaking after the match, Galatasaray's Belgian star Dries Mertens made important statements regarding his future.
Speaking after the Pendikspor match, Dries Mertens said, "It was a good match. We played well. We need to continue in the league this way. The chants make me feel very special. I want to continue at Galatasaray. I feel good. We don't know what will happen. Both my family and I are very happy at Galatasaray."
The 36-year-old Belgian star also added, "I am very happy at Galatasaray, my son Ciro is also very happy. My relationship with Coach Okan is very good. He knows football very well. He guides me in a good way."
