PFDK reaches decision regarding Zorbay Küçük

The Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK), affiliated with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), has announced its decision in the disciplinary investigation conducted into referee Zorbay Küçük, who had been linked to betting activities. As a result of the examinations, no penalty was imposed on Küçük, who played his last match in October 2025 and was subsequently referred to the disciplinary board, on the grounds that the elements of the alleged offense were not present.

In the evaluation made by the board, it was concluded that the allegations directed at Zorbay Küçük did not warrant a disciplinary penalty. This decision allowed the process to be completed without any sanctions being applied to Küçük, who had faced an investigation during his refereeing career.

SANCTIONS ON CLUBS AND INDIVIDUALS

The PFDK also imposed fines and bans on several Süper Lig clubs and club officials for various reasons. Fenerbahçe was fined a total of 1 million 460 thousand liras, while Galatasaray was fined 720 thousand liras. In addition, ikas Eyüpspor received a fine of 700 thousand liras, Natura Dünyası Gençlerbirliği 480 thousand liras, Samsunspor 280 thousand liras, and Kasımpaşa 90 thousand liras.

Kasımpaşa head coach Emre Belözoğlu was handed a 1-match ban and an 80 thousand lira fine due to unsportsmanlike conduct toward the opposing team during and after the match, while the club's CEO Ceyhun Kazancı was issued a 380 thousand lira fine and a 90-day ban from football-related activities for being in unauthorized areas and insulting the referees.

The disciplinary board also decided to block some electronic tickets for fans of Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Samsunspor, Kocaelispor, Göztepe, ikas Eyüpspor, Çaykur Rizespor, and Zecorner Kayserispor for their next matches.

Within the scope of the Trendyol 1. Lig, Sipay Bodrum FK was fined 410 thousand liras, and Arca Çorum FK was fined 220 thousand liras.
