Rafael Leao claim: Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray's contacts with Milan are far from an agreement
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, both clubs are in the running for Rafael Leao; Milan's 50 million euro expectation is complicating negotiations.
Transfer rumors regarding the future of Milan player Rafael Leao have also become a topic of discussion in Turkey. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claimed that Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are interested in the Portuguese footballer, but that the parties are not close to an agreement under current conditions.
According to the report, Fenerbahçe has made contact with Milan regarding a Leao transfer. It was stated that the Italian club expects a transfer fee of 50 million euros for the player, while the Yellow-Navies have not yet submitted an official offer.

On the Fenerbahçe side, it was alleged that their salary plan consists of 7-8 million euros annually plus bonuses. It was reported that Leao is demanding an annual salary of at least 12 million euros. It was also suggested that the Yellow-Navies are evaluating the option of spreading the transfer fee over several years.
The picture painted for Galatasaray is based on a different formula. It was claimed that the Yellow-Reds could prepare an offer for Leao that could reach up to 10 million euros annually, and that they plan to propose a structure to Milan that includes a loan with a mandatory purchase option.
It was stated that Galatasaray wants to finalize the transfer for a figure below the 50 million euro transfer fee expectation and is considering waiting until mid-August for Milan to lower its demand. It was emphasized that under current conditions, both Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are far from an agreement with Milan.
