Statement from Fenerbahçe regarding the 'betting scandal'

"Public Announcement 

The statements shared with the public today by Turkish Football Federation President Mr. İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu contain extremely serious allegations that must be examined with care for the future of Turkish football. 

As Fenerbahçe Sports Club;

we have always advocated for football to be managed within the framework of the principles of justice, honesty, and transparency. 

The mentioned allegations concern not only the referee community but the entire football family closely. 

At this point, the most important issue that the public needs to know is the transparent disclosure of who the referees identified as having placed bets are, which matches they officiated, and which areas of football these activities have affected.

For the credibility of Turkish football to be restored, it is essential that this information be shared without concealment and without leaving any room for hesitation. Otherwise, it is not possible to rebuild the sense of trust in the football community.

As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, we will be closely following this process. 

Turkish football must now walk toward a transparent, fair, and clean future, no longer in the shadow of old habits."
