Kemal Sunal Museum opens to visitors
The Kemal Sunal Museum, built by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in Göztepe Park, houses many items ranging from the late actor's personal belongings to his film costumes. The museum will open to visitors with an opening ceremony taking place today.
The construction process of the museum bearing the name of Kemal Sunal, one of the legendary actors of Turkish cinema, has been completed.
In the museum, which was created by converting an administrative building in IMM's Göztepe Park, the late actor's personal belongings, as well as costumes and accessories he used in his films, and posters are on display.
The Kemal Sunal Museum, which will be opened today at 17:00 by IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will also shed light on the half-century history of Turkish cinema.
