1-year-old baby kills snake by biting it after mistaking it for a toy

In an incident that occurred over the weekend in the Indian state of Bihar, it was reported that a 1-year-old baby bit a snake they mistook for a toy, killing the reptile, while the baby remains in good health.
According to a report by the Hindustan Times newspaper, the family of the 1-year-old in the Rajauli region of the state said that their child bit the snake after seeing it while playing and mistaking it for a toy.
Stating that the snake died, the family reported that the baby was taken to the hospital following the incident. Health officials, who provided information to the family about their child's condition, noted that the baby is doing well and that such non-venomous snakes are frequently seen during the monsoon season.
In July, in the Indian state of Bihar, a person who was bitten by a venomous snake became angry at the situation, caught the reptile, and killed it by biting it twice.
