The Syrian Arab Army's Military Operations Command has announced that it has made a significant decision regarding the military points belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) located in the Sheikh Maqsood and Ashrafieh neighborhoods of Aleppo. The statement reported that all military positions in these areas will now be considered legitimate military targets by the Syrian Arab Army.

REASON FOR THE DECISION EXPLAINED

The statement issued by the Syrian Army also included the justification for the decision. It was stated that the SDF has recently increased its attacks on certain neighborhoods in Aleppo and that there are allegations of the group having carried out "numerous massacres" against civilians. It was noted that following these developments, it was decided to expand military measures in the region.

MILITARY OPERATIONS WILL BE COMPREHENSIVE

The statement emphasized that the military operations to be conducted against SDF security points in the Sheikh Maqsood and Ashrafieh neighborhoods will be comprehensive. The Syrian Arab Army reported that the operations are planned to eliminate military threats on the ground.

URGENT CALL TO CIVILIANS

The Syrian Army also made a direct call to civilians living in the aforementioned neighborhoods. The statement indicated that for the sake of their safety, civilians must immediately stay away from SDF positions and not approach conflict zones.

TWO HUMANITARIAN CORRIDORS OPENED

On the other hand, it was announced that two humanitarian corridors have been established to ensure the safe evacuation of civilians. According to the statement, the Al-Awariz crossing and the transit points on Al-Zuhur Street, which are well-known to the local population, will be available as "safe humanitarian corridors" until 15:00.

"USE OF CORRIDORS IS VITAL"

The Syrian Arab Army pointed out that it is of great importance for civilians to use these corridors to move away from conflict areas, emphasizing that safe evacuation is the primary goal.

Following the expiration of the deadline set by the Damascus administration for the humanitarian corridors until 15:00, a limited operation was launched in Aleppo.

The Syrian news agency SANA shared footage of people leaving the area to avoid being harmed by the fighting.

SDF DEPLOYS TANKS

Sipan Hamo, a member of the so-called General Command of the terrorist organization SDF, responded to the Damascus administration's decision. In his statement, Hamo said:

"Today is a day of honor, and the Sheikh Maqsood and Ashrafieh neighborhoods are symbols of resistance and determination. For more than fifteen years, their people have faced all kinds of attacks, sieges, and oppression. We believe in their high national consciousness, their commitment to their neighborhoods and homes, and their standing shoulder to shoulder with their sons who are fighting to defend their honor and security. We believe that the determination and resistance of the people have been and will continue to be the foundation for thwarting all plans and threats."

Meanwhile, the SDF announced that more than 80 tanks and heavy armored military vehicles have been deployed around Sheikh Maqsood and Ashrafieh.
