US President Donald Trump announced that he plans to make some changes to his cabinet following the defeat Republicans suffered in the November 3 Congressional elections.
Speaking to the "60 Minutes" program to be broadcast on the CBS News channel, Trump was asked whether he planned to remove any names from his cabinet. Trump responded to this question by saying, "Yes, I do. A little bit."
In his general assessment regarding his cabinet, Trump emphasized his satisfaction, stating, "I am very happy with my cabinet. I think they are all good people." However, the US President added, "But I will probably make a few changes."
Trump's remarks came immediately after it was announced that Stephen Miller would be appointed as chief of staff, replacing Susie Wiles. The full interview is expected to be broadcast on Sunday.
