Damascus Airport reopens for service

Damascus Airport, which was closed due to the attacks led by the jihadist HTS that began on November 27, reopened for service today. 

Maintenance and repair work is ongoing on Syrian Airlines aircraft located at Damascus International Airport in the capital.

An official statement regarding the matter has been released. The statement indicated that the airport would resume operations gradually and that the first flight would take place from the capital, Damascus, to Aleppo.

It was also stated that the airport would be opened to international flights in the near future.
