U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his social media account that CNN, MS NOW, and Politico have been banned from accessing the White House.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that CNN, MS NOW, and Politico have been banned from accessing the White House. Trump shared his decision in a post on his social media account.
Claiming that the three media outlets in question are "constantly reporting fake news," Trump stated that CNN, MS NOW, and Politico are "banned from the White House immediately."
In his post, Trump also brought up MS NOW's former name, MSNBC, alleging that the channel changed its name due to a lack of viewers and credibility. Trump further argued that Politico had illegally received 8 million dollars in subscription fees from the government during the term of former U.S. President Joe Biden.
Trump stated that media outlets should not write "fiction and lies" in their reporting about him, his administration, and his country. In his post, the U.S. President added, "Other fake news outlets will be joining them."
