US President Donald Trump has made a statement regarding his presidency and immigration laws.
In a written statement on his social media account, Trump said, "If you import the third world, you become the third world. As long as I am president, that will not happen in the US."
Trump did not share any further details in his statement.
In line with the domestic policies pursued by the Trump administration recently, it is known that security forces, primarily the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), have been taking a tough stance against immigrants from various countries in different parts of the country.
