Trump criticizes Netanyahu: He is losing the public relations war
Former US President Donald Trump criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his handling of the situation in Gaza and said he would not rule out halting military support to Israel to end the war in Gaza.
Former US President Trump made extensive assessments regarding the situation in Israel and Gaza in an interview with Time magazine.
Stating that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has managed the process in Gaza poorly, Trump argued that the "failure" that emerged with the Hamas attacks on October 7 belongs to Netanyahu.
When asked whether he would consider halting the weapons support the US provides to Israel in order to stop the war in Gaza, Trump said he would not rule it out.
Blaming Iran as well as Hamas for the events of October 7, Trump claimed that if he were president, these attacks would never have happened. Asserting that he was the US President who provided the greatest support to Israel, Trump stated that if he becomes president again, he will once again provide the strongest support to that country.
ISRAEL HAS DONE A POOR JOB WITH PUBLIC RELATIONS
On the other hand, regarding the Israeli army's attacks in Gaza, Trump assessed, "I think Israel did one thing very badly; public relations. Israel should not be releasing footage of buildings being bombed and destroyed every night, which likely contain people, but that is what they are doing."
Trump said, "They are losing the public relations war, and they are losing it badly."
