2025 MTV Rate Increased: Which banks offer installment options?

The Motor Vehicle Tax (MTV) has been increased in line with the Revaluation Rate, meaning by 43.49 percent. The increased MTV, which came into effect as of January 2025, will be paid in two installments.

Both public and private banks are offering installment options for MTV.

HOW MUCH IS THE MTV BASED ON ENGINE VOLUME AND AGE?

In 2025, the lowest MTV rose to 499 Turkish Lira. The highest MTV reached the level of 230 thousand Turkish Lira.

2025 MTV amount for vehicles with 1300 cc engine and below

The annual MTV amount for a vehicle between 1-3 years old, with an engine volume lower than 1300 cm3 and a value exceeding 455 thousand 300 Turkish Lira, became 5 thousand 803 Turkish Lira.

The MTV amount for a vehicle of the same price scale and engine volume between 4-6 years old rose to 4 thousand 42 Turkish Lira.

2025 MTV amount for 1300-1600 cc engine vehicles

The annual MTV amount for a vehicle between 1-3 years old, with an engine volume between 1300-1600 cm3 and a value exceeding 455 thousand 300 Turkish Lira, rose to 10 thousand 112 Turkish Lira.

The annual MTV amount for a vehicle of the same price scale and engine volume between 4-6 years old became 7 thousand 577 Turkish Lira.

2025 MTV amount for 1601-1800 cc engine vehicles

The annual MTV amount for a vehicle between 1-3 years old, with an engine volume between 1601-1800 cm3 and a value exceeding 651 thousand 700 Turkish Lira, rose to 17 thousand 866 Turkish Lira.

The MTV amount for a vehicle of the same price scale and engine volume between 4-6 years old rose to 13 thousand 956 Turkish Lira.

2025 MTV AMOUNT FOR MOTORCYCLES

The MTV amount for a motorcycle between 1-3 years old with an engine volume of 100-250 cc rose to 899 Turkish Lira, and the MTV amount for a motorcycle of the same age range with an engine volume of 251-650 cc rose to 1862 Turkish Lira.

Again, for a motorcycle between 1-3 years old with an engine volume of 651-1200 cc, the MTV to be paid is 4808 Turkish Lira, and for an engine volume of 1201 cc and above, this rate rose to 11 thousand 66 Turkish Lira.

According to the news reported by Dünya newspaper, the banks offering installments for 2025 MTV are as follows:

Ziraat Bankası: For your installment MTV payments made with the credit card feature of your individual Bankkart via Ziraat Mobile, Ziraat internet branch, Ziraat Bankası ATMs, and the channels www.gib.gov.tr : https://ivd.gib.gov.tr https://intvrg.gib.gov.tr, transactions are divided into 4 installments.

Vakıfbank: You can make your MTV payments to be made via Vakıf Katılım Mobile Branch, Internet Branch, and GİB (Revenue Administration) between January 1 - January 31, 2025, with your Vakıf Katılım Individual Credit Card in 3 interest-free installments.

Halkbank: MTV payments of 500 TL and above made via Halkbank Mobile, Halkbank Internet Branch, Dialog, or gib.gov.tr between January 1 - February 5, 2025, with individual credit cards will be made in 3 interest-free installments, and in 4 interest-free installments with Paraf individual credit cards with the Troy logo.

İş Bankası: 3 installments will be applied to Motor Vehicle Tax (MTV) payments of 500 TL and above that you will make through all channels of İş Bankası between January 1-31, 2025, with your Maximum Card.

TEB: 4 installments will be applied to your MTV payments that you will make via the CEPTETEB İŞTE Mobile Banking Application and Corporate Internet Banking until January 31 with your credit cards, and 3 installments will be applied to your payments made via TEB ATMs and gib.gov.tr.

Garanti Bankası: An opportunity for 3 interest-free installments will be offered for Motor Vehicle Tax payments between January 1 - January 31, 2025.
