Maserati to produce the legendary Quattroporte as an electric vehicle

Maserati's electric vehicle roadmap shows that the model we are most curious about has been pushed to the very end. Founded in 1914 and having launched its first car in 1926, Maserati has managed to maintain its position among the world's largest and most popular automakers for nearly 100 years. Known throughout its history for legends such as the Ghibli, MC12, and Quattroporte, the brand has also managed to preserve its reputation through the continuous development of its cars and its contributions to the industry.

However, the company has announced an electric version of the Quattroporte model, known for the sound that delights our ears every time we hear it, by keeping pace with the change in technology. This news, which was previously the subject of rumors, has been confirmed by the company's official statement.

At the beginning of Maserati's electric car production schedule is the GranCabrio Folgore. This vehicle will be introduced within this year. In 2025, we will see the zero-emission version of the MC20. Then, in 2027, we will see an electric SUV (likely the Levante EV). Last in line is the Quattroporte Folgore, which will be launched in 2028.

In addition to the electric models already on sale, the GranTurismo and Grecale Folgore, the company will also offer its other popular models within this framework.
