Strategic 1.5 billion euro acquisition by Samsung

Samsung Electronics has reached an agreement with the private equity firm Triton to acquire FlaktGroup, a German manufacturer of ventilation, heating, and air conditioning systems, for 1.5 billion euros. The South Korean technology giant stated that this acquisition is a strategic step toward meeting the increasing need for cooling data centers.
The acquisition of FlaktGroup, which operates production facilities in North Rhine-Westphalia, stands out as Samsung's largest investment in the last eight years.
