What does neoliberalism mean? Neo means new. Liberalism means capitalism. Together, they mean this: new capitalism. Both the new and the old versions of capitalism have the same goal: to exploit the working class. To take the share of the working class and add it to one's own wealth, and to grow. To suck blood and shed blood. That is why, to avoid confusion, I just say liberalism and leave it at that. Capitalism's name today is liberalism. Capitalism, liberalism, and neoliberalism are synonymous concepts. In other words, it is six of one, half a dozen of the other.
So what about imperialism? What is imperialism to neoliberalism or capitalism? If I said it was their uncle, you would laugh. In my opinion, capitalism is the veins of imperialism. It is the hands that hold the weapons. It is the monster that produces tricks and schemes, that insidiously exploits peoples with lies and deceit when the time comes, and that sucks their blood. In other words, it is capitalism in the guise of a monster.
Imperialism is a terrifying giant that changes its shape. Sometimes you look and think imperialism has disappeared. It does not disappear; it actually becomes invisible, and we think it has vanished. Sometimes you look and see imperialism constantly repeating concepts like democracy, human rights, peace, equality, and brotherhood. It becomes like an angel. It takes on the guise of an angel. But the true nature of imperialism is a monstrous dragon. It is a huge snake. It reaches everywhere. It injects its poison everywhere. Those who receive the poison of imperialism can never stand tall again. They either die and perish, or they become slaves to imperialism.
This poisonous snake has 3 heads. Each of the 3 heads has its own mouth, and inside its mouth, it has a terrifyingly poisonous tongue.
The first head of imperialism is mandate-ism. Their language is similar to the language of today's neoliberals. In fact, mandate-ism and neoliberalism are synonymous. The mandate-ist poisons poor, underdeveloped states and developing states, making them slaves to itself. It binds peoples who have not yet become states to itself in the same way, more easily, and makes them slaves. Of course, imperialism making them slaves means sucking the blood of peoples and states. Think about and examine mandate-ism well. You will understand more clearly and easily what imperialism means.
The second head of imperialism is religious extremism. Through religious extremism, peoples are made to kill one another. Through religious extremism, people are severed from reason and science. They are imprisoned in the darkness of ignorance. In that darkness, imperialism exploits peoples and states, robs them, takes their assets from them, and enslaves them. Religious extremism, sectarianism, and cultism weave the minds of people with poisonous spider webs. They divert them from the path of reason and science. Religious extremism is a very dangerous poison.
The third head of imperialism's 3-headed snake is separatism. A nationalist understanding based on hatred, severed from corrupted science and reason; detached from reality, racist, discriminatory, divisive, and ethnicist, is also the most important poison of imperialism. Imperialism uses the poison of this monstrous nationalist understanding to prevent the brotherhood of peoples. Divide, conquer, and exploit. Pit brother against brother. Serve as a soldier for imperialism. Serve as a slave.
Through ethnic separatism, or more clearly, through divisive nationalism, imperialism makes masses of people kill one another. From this, it pours wealth into its own coffers. The sweat of the laborer enters the pocket of capitalism.
The brotherhood and solidarity of peoples against imperialism is the only solution. On one hand, laborers must raise their class consciousness. Class consciousness must replace ethnic separatism, religious extremism, and mandate-ism. For class consciousness to develop and take root, civic consciousness is also necessary.
Turkey is a state founded against imperialism. It won its independence by fighting against imperialism. Fighting against imperialism means fighting against religious extremism. Fighting against imperialism means fighting against separatism. Fighting against imperialism means fighting against mandate-ism.
Raising, spreading, and adopting a culture of citizenship and civic consciousness, and defending the equality and brotherhood of peoples—all these are ways of fighting against imperialism.
The degeneration of a mode of production, its inability to produce enough, and its inability to distribute fairly result in the breakdown of that production system. Breakdown creates the conditions for another mode of production. This breakdown affects the conditions of transformation of the whole, ideologically, politically, and economically, within the society as a whole. It changes it. The crisis of the capitalist mode of production grows, integrates, and strengthens political and ideological conditions. This strengthening and integration create the conditions for a transition from the capitalist mode of production to the socialist mode of production.
In the transition process, there are objective contradictions. When these align with the objective interests of the laborers, socialism is realized. Concrete historical conditions determine the realization of socialism.
The concrete historical conditions are as follows: The internal contradictions of the system, its frequent crises, the incompatibility of class interests, the ever-deepening inequalities; the system reaching a point incompatible with nature and human existence…
In other words, what I am saying is that imperialist countries, Israel, the EU, the US, and others should know that their days are numbered. The blood of humanity is running out. Your class also has blood. Humanity that remains silent on Gaza will pay very heavy prices. Every day is a new day.
