The profound folly of legitimizing ethnic separatism

The fact that the public, experiencing a temporary paralysis of consciousness due to the smoke bombs thrown, cannot read the process correctly, cannot perceive the insidious trap being set, and cannot foresee the dire consequences of the disaster we are being dragged into, must be noted as a success for those who orchestrated the assassination attempt aimed at stripping Turks of their homeland and destroying the Republic of Turkey. It is understood that the hypnosis campaign—which causes a blurring of our social consciousness and a weakening of our national sensitivity, such as the stopping of bloodshed, the smoking of the peace and brotherhood pipe, and the construction of a 'Terror-Free Turkey'—was put into practice after a serious preparatory process in which every possibility was calculated.

The main theme of the imperial scenario, designed abroad and put into practice domestically, is the transformation of the head of the separatist terrorist organization into an 'Imralı sage' and 'founding leader.' If the process concludes in the manner planned by those who orchestrated the assassination, it will become inevitable for the Republic of Turkey, built on the foundation of a nation-state and a unitary structure, to transform into a confederation of tribes and sects, and for the equation of foundation to be replaced by an equation of collapse and disintegration.

It must be known that the status of 'Mandelafying' the Imralı convict, elevating him to a level where he can directly engage with the legitimate organs of the Republic of Turkey, inviting him to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), or having a TBMM delegation go to him, and the legitimacy and immunity this would provide him, will result in Turkey becoming trapped in a dead end from which there is no return or exit.

Those who cannot foresee that meetings and negotiations taking place in Imralı or the TBMM, where the Republic of Turkey is made to sit at the table on equal terms with a counterpart granted the title of 'Founding Leader (!),' will be the starting point of an irreversible process that could lead to the disintegration of Turkey, will undoubtedly also be unable to foresee the unerring judgment that history will pass upon them!

It should be seen that what we have witnessed for nearly a quarter of a century since 2002—in the judiciary, bureaucracy, law enforcement, education, and economic and social life—masked by the rhetoric of ending coups, military tutelage, and the anti-democratic status quo, is nothing other than the destruction of the state's beams and columns, the liquidation of the nation-state and unitary structure-based regime, and the abandonment of the rule of law and democracy.

The main opposition party, which claims to come from the tradition of the Defense of Rights (Müdafaa-i Hukuk) and to follow in the footsteps of its founding chairman Atatürk, must explain to the public without delay whether its stance in the process of transforming the Imralı convict into an 'Imralı Sage' is an attempt to raise the stakes or to stand against it to the end. It must urgently share with the Turkish Nation its stance against the project of a 'Puppet Kurdistan,' which serves as the regional hitman of imperialism, and a Turkey without the Euphrates, the Tigris, and the GAP (Southeastern Anatolia Project), which aims to shrink Turkey's political geography.

In this current process, where scenarios to create ethnic partners for the title deed of the Turkish Nation and to strip Turkey of its status as a nation-state are being put into practice, political parties, political leaders, and those who govern the country must not forget the equation of salvation and foundation of the country/regime explained by Atatürk in his six-day 'Speech' (Nutuk) in the TBMM in 1927, when he recalled the state of the country, which was facing the danger of disintegration when he landed in Samsun on May 19, 1919: 'Gentlemen, in the face of this situation, there was only one decision. That was to establish a new, independent Turkish state based on national sovereignty, unconditionally!'
