Heroic lieutenants

The British, aiming to establish a Kurdistan, assigned British Intelligence Officer Major Edward William Charles Noel (1886-1940) to the task. Noel began his mission in India and was later sent to Iran. In Iran, he studied the ethnic structure of the region and learned Kurdish.

During the Armistice of Mudros period, he was assigned to Baghdad. His new mission was the establishment of a Kurdistan State under British support. He worked to incite the Kurds to revolt against Mustafa Kemal Pasha. All the individuals he established contact with were tribal leaders and Naqshbandi sheikhs, who were the leaders of the pro-Kurdish organizations founded in 1908.

British Agent Noel aimed to assassinate Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Together with the Governor of Elâzığ, Ali Galip, he attempted to raid the Sivas Congress. However, he failed and fled Turkey.(1) In mid-1919, Noel wrote a report and drew a map of Kurdistan. In Noel's map of Kurdistan, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Sivas, Erzincan, Erzurum, Kars and the south are included as "Greater Kurdistan." This map is currently used by the Barzani administration in Northern Iraq and the PKK terrorist organization as a so-called map of Kurdistan.

Mustafa Kemal Pasha and his heroic cadre fiercely resisted this project, which aimed to dismantle the last Turkish homeland. The Treaty of Sèvres of August 10, 1920, also included a Kurdistan and an Armenia state in Turkey.

In 2006, the Greater Middle East Project (GMEP) map was published in the U.S. Armed Forces Journal. It is the same as Major Noel's, Sèvres, the Barzani Administration, and the PKK terrorist organization's so-called map. The historical process is progressing step by step.

Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of the Catholic religion and Head of State of the Vatican, visited the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Iraq on March 8, 2021, as part of his Iraq visit. A commemorative stamp was printed in honor of the Pope's visit. In the map in question, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Sivas, Erzincan, Erzurum, Kars and the south were shown as "Greater Kurdistan."(2) The Pope's stamp map is the same as Major Noel's, Sèvres, the PKK terrorist organization's, and the U.S. Greater Middle East Project's (GMEP) so-called Kurdistan map. In fact, the target was Turkey, and it was no longer being hidden.

The new shape the U.S. wanted to give the Middle East was written about by American Professor Noam Chomsky in his book "The Fateful Triangle," published in 1983. In the book, he includes a report from the Jerusalem American Enterprise Institute. This report contained the following information: "Nationalism and national identity in the Middle East must be destroyed, and for this, the Middle East must be Ottomanized. Thus, there will be no national power and resistance left in the region to oppose Western interests, and the gears of the systems will work easily. For the U.S., the most dangerous enemy and threat is the threat of independence."(3)

Graham Fuller, the CIA's Middle East Director, said the following in 1990: "Kemalism is finished. Like all leaders in the world, he could not produce a product that would live forever. Yet the Bible and the Quran still do. Therefore, Turkey, which trusts itself intellectually, must rethink the place of Islam in daily life."(4)

At the current stage; Iraq, Syria, and Libya have been torn apart. Palestine has been destroyed. It is the turn of Iran and Turkey.

Now, look at the developments in Turkey from the 2000s to today, the polarization, and the agenda being created. Look at the immigration policy, the demographic change in border cities, the work on the New Constitution, and the Turkey Century Education Model. Look at the reliability of institutions. And look at the performance of state institutions during the great earthquake.

And, as of September 1, 2024, Iraqi citizens under 15 and over 50 will be able to enter Turkey freely without a visa. The population of Iraq is 46 million. 17 million are under 15. 6 million are over 50. That is, 23 million Iraqis will be able to enter without a visa. If only 10% of these 23 million benefit, that makes 2.3 million. It is unknown how many people within this number will be those who cooperate with terrorist organizations. What is the justification for this decision, which is contrary to national security and national interests? We do not know... What other country applies visa exemption to a country with a very weak economy that has not been able to ensure its own security? We do not know that either...

While Turkey was facing these threats, after the Kara Harp Okulu (Military Academy) graduation ceremony on August 30, 2024, during the traditional "sword-crossing" ceremony of the lieutenants, the lieutenant who graduated first recited the following text:

"We swear that; we will be there to face those who reach out to the independence of the secular, democratic Republic of Turkey, the indivisible integrity of the country, the honor and dignity of the noble Turkish nation, and even an inch of the sacred homeland, and our swords will always be sharp and ready. We are the children of the Turkish future! We were born with honor, we will live with honor, and we will die with honor! How happy is the one who says I am a Turk!"

The lieutenants then shouted in unison, "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal."

The ungrateful, dishonest, and those who cooperate with those who want to divide Turkey opposed this traditional ceremony of the lieutenants. These collaborators make up about 10 percent of society. In the past, they stood with the occupiers against the National Struggle. In the recent period, they cooperated with the CIA and FETÖ. Together with the CIA and FETÖ, they purged the heroic Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). Now, by launching a lynching campaign over the lieutenants, they are continuing their cooperation with the enemies of Turkey. Under normal circumstances, these heroic lieutenants would be rewarded. What were the lieutenants supposed to say?.. Were they supposed to say, like these collaborators, long live the CIA, long live FETÖ, long live Hacıanesti, long live Trikoupis?..

If it weren't for Mustafa Kemal, there would be no homeland left, nor any office... If it weren't for Mustafa Kemal, one would have to get a visa to go to Istanbul and Malazgirt. If it weren't for Mustafa Kemal, the call to prayer would not be recited in the mosque, and the glorious Flag would not be waving. Is Mustafa Kemal's crime to save the honor and dignity of the homeland and the nation?..

The lieutenants graduated as lieutenants... Now they have become heroic lieutenants...
