Turkey cannot survive with this refugee problem...

Until the 1980s, Pakistan was a country where British traditions were influential... Now, it has become a country where instability persists. 45 years ago, in 1979, following the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Pakistan accepted nearly 4.5 million Afghan refugees.

Pakistan, which shares a 2,430-kilometer border with Afghanistan, wanted to bring Afghanistan under its influence out of an ambition to become a leader in the region. In order to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan, the US and Pakistan embarked on the task of finding radical elements.

The refugees turned into a source for training fighters.

The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), through a roughly three-billion-dollar "train-and-equip" program via Pakistan, trained radical fighters against the Soviet occupation.

The fighters were trained by the Pakistani army and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Pakistan became both a training and logistical support base for radical fighters and a neighboring country where thousands of terrorists who easily crossed the border found shelter. The source of weapons and money was the US and some Arab countries.

When the Soviets withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989, Al-Qaeda, one of the fighter groups supported by Pakistan, had become a plague on the whole world. The fighter groups it had trained, equipped, and sent to its neighbor Afghanistan had turned into a monster that also struck itself. The scorpion it had fed had now begun to sting it mercilessly. This scorpion was the "Freedom Fighters" supported by Pakistan.

The "Freedom Fighters" reached an influential power in Pakistan and began to demand Sharia in the country. These elements, which it had trained to fight in Afghanistan, turned Pakistan into a country where ethnic and sectarian conflicts became constant and deep divisions were experienced in society.

Pakistani society and media became radicalized. Political Islamism became widespread in the Pakistani army and other state institutions. Pakistan, which was competing with India and possessed nuclear power in the 1980s, never saw stability again.

Significant economic support was provided to Pakistan for the refugees by the UN and some Islamic countries.

Pakistani refugee expert Javid Siddiqui states that social life is under threat due to crimes and terrorist activities organized by refugees in the country. Siddiqui said it took 30 years to fully realize that refugees were damaging social life in Pakistan.(1)

REFUGEES AND TURKEY

The US dismantled Syria in accordance with the Greater Middle East Project (GMEP). It implemented an open-door policy for Turkey, and according to official figures, it hosts approximately 4 million Syrian refugees. Along with Syrians, there are also Afghan, Pakistani, and African refugees/migrants.

As a result, Turkey is in the position of being the country hosting the most migrants in the world.

Wealthy European countries that supported the US in the dismantling of Syria did not act like Turkey. They host a much smaller number of Syrians whom they have selected. Approximately, Germany has accepted 530 thousand, Sweden 104 thousand, Austria 50 thousand, Canada 54 thousand, the US 33 thousand, and the UK 20 thousand Syrian refugees. Because they know very well that refugees/migrants harm the social structure and security of society.

TURKEY'S STRATEGIC PROBLEMS

Turkey is facing four existential (BEKA) problems that have the potential to be passed on to future generations:

- It has become neighbors with a geography that produces terror along a total border of 1300 kilometers, including the 911-kilometer Syrian and 378-kilometer Iraqi borders.

- Turkey has become the country hosting the most migrants in the world.

- Idlib, which has a 130-kilometer border with Hatay in Syria, has been turned into a Little Afghanistan by the US.

- And yet, the most important existential (BEKA) problem is that Turkey has been turned into a Middle Eastern country due to the Syria and refugee/migrant policy it has implemented.

Pakistan accepted 4.5 million Afghans in the 1980s and never saw a peaceful day. Lebanon collapsed due to Palestinian refugees.

The EU does not want the refugees/migrants to leave Turkey, the US does not want it, the PKK/PYD terrorist organization does not want it, and the so-called intellectuals who prefer to be happy with Soros funds do not want it. In other words, those who dream of Turkey's disintegration do not want it. Because if the refugees go to their countries, the PKK/PYD terrorist organization cannot establish a state in Syria. The US's GMEP project cannot progress...

If you ask, "How does a country insistently commit suicide?"; it does not need to take any other step... Turkey is committing suicide...

If the policies of yesterday, which were seen as solutions, have become the main problem of today, one should stop and learn a lesson... One should learn a lesson, but instead of existential (BEKA) problems, the New Constitution work, which serves no national interest, occupies a more important place.
