Famous musician Angelo Bruschini has passed away

The band Massive Attack released a statement announcing that the team's 62-year-old guitarist Angelo Bruschini has passed away. It was announced that Bruschini succumbed to lung cancer.

In a statement made on Massive Attack's X account, it was said, "A singularly brilliant and eccentric talent. It’s impossible to quantify your contribution to the Massive Attack canon. How lucky we were to share such a life together."

WHO IS ANGELO BRUSCHINI?

Born in Bristol, Angelo Bruschini joined the band Massive Attack in the 1990s. In addition to performing with other groups in between, he also produced the self-titled album of the alternative rock band Strangelove in 1997.

He played guitar on Jane Taylor's song "Blowing This Candle Out," released in 2005. Bruschini had announced on social media last July that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer.

In his post that day, he wrote, "I've had a great life, I've seen the world many times, met many great people, but the door is closing, I think I will write a book."
