Madonna and Elton John reconcile after years

Two giants of the music world, Madonna and Elton John, have ended their years-long dispute. The duo, who met backstage at the Saturday Night Live program, delighted their fans by announcing the meeting on their social media accounts. In her post, Madonna confirmed the news of the reconciliation, stating, 'We finally buried the hatchet.'

Madonna stated that when she heard Elton John would be a guest on the program, she decided to confront him. 'The first sentence out of his mouth as soon as he saw me was "Forgive me,"' said Madonna, expressing that this moment melted the ice between them. Furthermore, Elton John telling her that he had written a song for her and wanted to work together signifies a 'new beginning' for Madonna.

Elton John, for his part, expressed regret over his past remarks and responded to Madonna's post. The British musician added the note 'A moment of healing' to the photo he shared on his social media account.

The feud between the two dates back to the early 2000s. In 2004, Elton John had criticized Madonna's performances, making a harsh remark by asking, 'Since when does lip-syncing count as live music?'
