100 million 5 TL coins minted
The announcement published in the Official Gazette stated that 100 million 5 TL coins have been minted in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
The Communiqué of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance regarding the Issuance of 5 TL Commemorative Coins in Honor of the 100th Anniversary of the Republic has been published in the Official Gazette.
100 MILLION COINS MINTED
The decision published in the Official Gazette was announced as follows: ''In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, 5 TL commemorative coins with the specifications listed below have been minted and put into circulation by the General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House, affiliated with our Ministry, limited to 100 million units.''
PUT INTO CIRCULATION
With the published decision, it was reported that in accordance with the Law No. 1264 on the Minting of Small Change and Commemorative Coins dated May 28, 1970, 5 TL commemorative coins limited to 100 million units were minted and put into circulation by the General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House, affiliated with the Ministry, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
