On December 24, 2024, in Bakırköy Florya, a business that sells window tinting for cars was shot at twice in a single day. Two people who arrived on a motorcycle in the morning hours opened fire on the shop and fled quickly. The same individuals attacked the shop again in the evening. The suspects had called the business owner to demand extortion money, but when they did not receive an appointment, they attacked for a second time.

The business owner, S.İ., stated that after the attack, he received a video taken by the suspects and shared on their social media accounts. It was noted that extortion money was demanded in the video with the note, “You got the message. Have your boss call us.” This threat prompted the Robbery Bureau teams to take action.

According to the report by Habertürk, security cameras were examined as part of the investigation. The license plate of the motorcycle used by the suspects during the incident was identified, and the camera footage was tracked step by step. The moments when the suspects went to Esenyurt and covered the motorcycle with a tarp were also captured by another camera. These recordings played a key role in the capture of the suspects.

3 SUSPECTS APPREHENDED

Following the evidence obtained, the Robbery Bureau teams organized an operation. During the raid, suspects Berkan Y. (22), Enes A. (27), and A.A. (17) were taken into custody. A 9 mm caliber handgun used in the attack and a large number of cartridges were seized during the search of the house. The moment of the operation was recorded by a police camera.

‘DALTONLAR’ CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION CONNECTION REVEALED

As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the suspects had previous criminal records with the police and were members of a criminal organization known as the “Daltonlar.” The suspects confessed that they shot at the shop under instructions they received from abroad and that the attacks were intended to intimidate. The suspects were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station.
