In his statement on the X platform, Minister Yerlikaya said, 'A 5.0 magnitude earthquake has occurred in Elazığ. All teams from AFAD and our relevant institutions have immediately begun field surveys. As of now, there are no negative reports. I extend my best wishes to our citizens affected by the earthquake. May God protect our country and our nation from disasters.'
