DEM Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan has categorically denied claims circulating on social media recently regarding journalists who would allegedly visit Imralı Island to meet with Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK.
It had been claimed recently that certain journalists would visit Imralı Island to meet with Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK.
It was alleged that the journalists in question were Ruşen Çakır, Hasan Cemal, Eyüp Burç, Cengiz Çandar, and Arzu Yılmaz.
Following these claims, a statement was issued by the DEM Party.
DEM Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan stated, “Reports claiming that the names of journalists who will meet with Mr. Öcalan on Imralı Island have been determined do not reflect the truth.”
