87 Turkish citizens evacuated from Gaza brought to Turkey
87 citizens of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), who were evacuated through the Rafah Border Crossing due to Israel's attacks on Gaza, have arrived in Istanbul via Egypt.
87 citizens of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), who were evacuated from Gaza due to Israel's attacks, have arrived in Istanbul via Egypt.
The Turkish Airlines plane carrying 27 TRNC citizens and 60 Turkish citizens, who crossed from the Rafah Border Crossing into Egypt, took off from Cairo Airport and landed at Istanbul Airport.
The citizens of Turkey and the TRNC were met at the airport by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and AFAD officials.
The citizens evacuated from Gaza were offered tea and cookies at the airport.
Following passport control, some citizens left the airport on allocated buses, while TRNC citizens and those whose place of residence is in other provinces were placed in hotels determined by AFAD.
