The Republican People's Party (CHP) Istanbul Provincial Administration has been dismissed and a trustee has been appointed in its place. Making a post regarding the situation, AKP member Şamil Tayyar wrote the following:

“With the cancellation of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress, the pieces have shifted and the Özgür Özel era has ended.

The dismissal of the 196 Istanbul delegates who voted in the 38th Ordinary Congress, where Özel was elected chairman, will also influence the lawsuit regarding the cancellation of the CHP Congress in Ankara on September 15 in the same direction.

In this case, while the Gürsel Tekin era begins as Provincial Chairman in Istanbul, it is highly likely that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will take the chairmanship seat in Ankara.

In the face of the court's cancellation decision, my prediction is that Kılıçdaroğlu will also accept the duty.

It is probable that with the decision in Ankara, the congress process of the CHP across the entire country will be halted, the 38th congress delegates will be dismissed, and the former Party Assembly (PM) will continue its duty.

The former PM under Kılıçdaroğlu's leadership will restart the new congress process from scratch.

The CHP's new congress must be held within 1 year at the latest.

In other words, Kılıçdaroğlu will determine the new course of the CHP.”
