While the Turkish agenda continues to be occupied with the fund investigation, warnings continue to come from AKP figures that the process should be carried out more quickly and clearly.
One of these figures was AKP's Tayyar.
Giving an example through an incident he experienced regarding how the fund fraud has affected citizens, the AKP member shared the following:
In Ankara.
On my way home, I stopped at a gas station on the Eskişehir road.
The attendant at the pump asked, "Brother, did you change your car?"
Apparently, we had stopped here before.
When I said, "That car was my wife's, we sold it," he started to laugh:
"What did you do with the money, brother, did you invest it in the fund or something?"
You should see the mischief on his face.
After winning me over by saying, "We know about your struggle," he brought up the subject of the fund fraudsters, grumbling, "Brother, how do they eat all that money, can that much money even be eaten, does a person never get full?"
We received both fuel and a lesson.
There are many examples like this that I could tell.
It must be underlined that the fund fraud has caused serious trauma in society, especially among those with low and fixed incomes.
It is possible to repair this damage, but it requires a lot of effort.
Holding those responsible accountable and overcoming the difficulties themselves is just as important as resolving the grievances.
