A fire that broke out in a second-floor apartment of a three-story building in Fatih was extinguished by the rapid intervention of fire crews. In the incident, where windows shattered, damage occurred both in the apartment where the fire started and in the unit below.
A fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined in a second-floor apartment of a building on Sümbül Efendi Street in the Silivrikapı neighborhood. Due to the flames growing rapidly, the apartment's windows shattered. Those in the vicinity who heard the sound of the explosion reported the situation to fire and police teams.
The fire was brought under control and extinguished through the intervention of fire crews. It was learned that no one was in the home at the time of the fire. The apartment sustained damage in the blaze.
Meanwhile, the apartment on the floor below the one where the fire started was also damaged due to water leaking from the firefighting efforts.
