Ankara Metropolitan Municipality shares footage with the note 'dirty hands at work before the election'

The municipality released footage of the malicious individuals stopping the escalators, adding the note, "dirty hands are at work before the election."

The statement added that the escalators, which had no malfunctions, were being stopped by pressing the emergency stop buttons.

The following statements were included in the announcement:

“Following a significant increase in the number of reported malfunctions of escalators in various parts of our city over the last few days, our Metropolitan Municipality has launched an investigation.

The investigation revealed that the escalators were being stopped by pressing the emergency stop buttons despite having no malfunctions, causing grievances for our citizens.

The increase in such immoral behavior in recent days is significant. It is clear that dirty politics has never benefited anyone to date and will not do so in the future. These efforts do not harm ABB Mayor Mr. Mansur Yavaş, but rather the people of Ankara.

Legal action will be taken immediately against those who carry out this act, those who encourage it, and those who cause grievances for our citizens, and the matter will be followed up to the end.
