The incident took place in the Balışeyh district of Kırıkkale. According to the information obtained, Balışeyh Mayor Hilmi Şen was shot by an individual. Critically wounded, Şen was rushed to Balışeyh State Hospital.
It was learned that 3 people who were with the mayor were also wounded in the attack.
