In the village of Konacık in Siirt, a fight broke out between two groups due to a village head (muhtar) election, resulting in 1 death and 4 injuries.
In Siirt, an argument broke out between two groups due to a village head election.
The argument turned into a fight involving stones, sticks, and firearms. In the fight, 5 people were injured, 1 of them critically.
Upon notification, gendarmerie and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene, and the wounded were taken to hospitals in the city.
One of the wounded taken to the hospital, I.A. (54), could not be saved despite medical intervention.
Regarding the fight, B.K. was apprehended with a handgun in his possession.
Security measures taken by gendarmerie teams in the village and police teams at the hospital continue.
