The assets of social media influencer Nez Demir, a close friend of the Dilan-Engin Polat couple, whose own assets were seized due to allegations of money laundering and tax evasion, have also been seized. The investigation has also extended to Demir's beauty center.
"I HAVE NOTHING TO BE SEIZED"
The influencer made a statement on social media saying the following:
“I am a victim of friendship. My new companies have no connection to the companies mentioned, and there is no issue with the partnership from 3 years ago. The state says, 'Let me place a precautionary measure until I investigate.' Well, what about my victimization here?
I have no fortune, I have nothing to be seized; even being involved in such things is humiliating for me. I want this investigation to be concluded faster than anyone else. A precautionary measure was placed on me, and on my father who has been a tradesman for 40 years; I am paying salaries, I am paying rent… I request from all authorities, you can take me into custody, you can call me for a statement, I will come running, please.”
